Dennis “Denny” Weyenberg, 73

Dennis “Denny” Weyenberg of Okeechobee, FL passed away February 15, 2013. He was born August 30, 1939 in Appleton, Wisconsin. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1957 and married his high school sweetheart, Janet Busse, in 1959. He was employed at Doering’s Super Value before he and Janet opened their own business, Denny’s Supermarket in New London.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hattie Weyenberg; parents-in-law, Gilbert and Olive Busse; and brother-in-law, Richard Busse.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Weyenberg; daughters, Wendy Bodway (Dennis) of Appleton, WI, Sherry McClelland (Arden) and Dawn Weyenberg (special friend Richard Schlicht) all of New London, WI; grandchildren, Denise Balboa (Nick), Dana Laabs (Rob), Andrew Bodway (Kerri), Jason Dreier (Gina), Ryan Dreier, Colin Loughrin, Connor Loughrin; seven great grandchildren; brothers, James Weyenberg (Babs), Leroy Weyenberg (Judy) and Neil Weyenberg (Mary Ellen); in-laws, Carol Busse, Ronald Busse (Sue), Kay Busse, Keith Busse (Gail), Mary Hooyman (Gary), Debbie Deleeuw (Mark); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

You will be in our hearts forever, we love you.

The Weyenberg family would like to thank the staff of Nephrology Associates, Big Lake Dialysis Center, Hospice of Okeechobee and the Hamrick Home, Met Care and Raulerson Hospital.

No local services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, PO Box 1548, Okeechobee FL 34973.
