Virgie Glennon, 60

Virgie Glennon of Okeechobee passed away January 20, 2013 at her home. She was born January 6, 1953 in Gary, West Virginia to Alfred and Margaret Myers. She came to Okeechobee from West Virginia in 1960. She enjoyed fishing and taking care of her grandkids.

Mrs. Glennon was preceded in death her husband, Robert “Pat” Glennon.

She is survived by her children, Joe (Michele) Yates, Bonnie and Marlana Yates, Donna Sue, Trisha, Connie, Robert, John and Sam Glennon; mother, Margaret Myers; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Anne Myers and Abby Whitehead; and three brothers, Alfred, Jerry Lee and John Myers.

A gathering will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
